IP Address Data

We retain non-encrypted IP addresses for 24 hours to detect hacking attempts and other malicious activities. After 24 hours, we anonymize IP addresses using a hash with a salt, which is regenerated every 24 hours. We do not store previous salts.

This approach ensures that it is impossible for us to link any searches to specific IP addresses, and it is likewise impossible to link any two searches that occur more than 24 hours apart.

CDN and DNS Data

We utilize WP Engine as our content delivery network (CDN) provider, which uses Cloudflare for secure and efficient content delivery. Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy governs how your data is treated according to the “End Users” category, which includes data such as IP addresses, traffic routing data, system configuration information, and other information about traffic to and from our website.

Analytics Data

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Plausible Analytics aggregates and anonymizes data, allowing us to understand our site’s performance and user interactions without compromising your privacy.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Our site does not use any cookies. Instead, we use our own custom rate-limiting system, which does not rely on client-side processing.

Data Access and Deletion Requests

Our site does not have the capability to link any data to a specific user, IP address, or other identifier. As such, we cannot respond to access or deletion requests because we simply cannot associate any data with your request.

For Plausible Analytics, as no personal data is collected, there is no data available for deletion or access.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, California consumers have specific rights, including the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal data collected, the right to request deletion of personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data. Since we do not collect or sell personal data, these rights are not applicable to our site.
