• Migrate over 350 pieces of legacy content from Joomla to WordPress for a modern, scalable platform.

DCCH Center for Children and Families

DCCH has been a cornerstone in the Northern Kentucky community for over 175 years, committed to supporting children and families. They offer everything from residential treatment and therapeutic foster care to mental health services and adoption support. DCCH combines compassionate care with Christian values, providing a foundation of healing and growth for those who need it most.

1. Structure & Strategy:

   We worked hand-in-hand with Elemeno to create a site architecture that was as clear as it was functional. Together, we mapped out a new site outline, balancing the needs of DCCH’s users with their operational goals.

2. Seamless CMS Migration:

   Migrating years of data to a new architecture was complex, but we handled it carefully, preserving their history while paving the way for a future-ready platform. Using SQL exports and a specialized plugin, we carefully transferred 350+ posts into WordPress without a hitch.

3. Custom Theme Development:

   Elemeno’s designs called for innovation, and we delivered. We built a lightweight, fully custom WordPress theme using Bootstrap 5.3.3. With custom SCSS and JavaScript, we brought their vision to life—including multicolor branding schemes for every service page.

4. HIPAA-Compliant Forms:

   This was DCCH’s first HIPAA-compliant site. We guided DCCH through the creation of 11 HIPAA-compliant forms using JotForm. Each form was designed, tested, and implemented to safeguard client data. We partnered closely with their team to ensure every form was ready for their unique needs.

5. Performance Optimization:

   By minifying code, utilizing a global CDN, and converting all images to WebP, we built a lightning-fast site without compromising on quality.

6. Accessibility Built-In:

   Using best practices and the AccessiBe widget, we ensured every page met WCAG and ADA standards.

Quantitative Wins:

• Lighthouse Speed Scores: Desktop 99, Mobile 82.
